The Stone Chapel...

 

...was built by hand by Esther Smith Holmes’ father, Rev. Herman L.G. Smith in 1988. It is a sacred place for private prayer and reflection. The Chapel, which seats 12-15, overlooks the South Fork Trinity River and has been the site of many weddings.

Wedding ceremonies take place in front of the chapel. Frequently Bald Eagles and Ospreys circle overhead.
