The Location

Escot Farm is located on South Fork Road, Salyer, California.
This
is a mountainous area with rivers and covered by
forest. It is a warm and friendly place with high temperatures in
the summer and snow during the winter. It is a perfect area for
outdoor sport activities such as rafting, climbing, hiking, fishing
and
hunting.
The closest town is Willow Creek in Trinity River Valley, there you can find stores and restaurants. Escot Farm
has half mile of river frontage and is surrounded
by Six Rivers National Forest Land.
To the city folks coming to Escot Farm: although the place is
remote it offers peace and quiet to our visitors with warm water, electricity and satellite television!
The beautiful Northern California Coast can be reached by following Highway 299 west with its beautiful scenery,
gigantic rocks,
high cliffs and rugged coastline. The closest cities are Eureka,
Arcata, McKinleyville and Trinidad.
Following Highway 299 East you will go through
the Shasta/Trinity National Forest and Recreation Area with
more beautiful scenery including mountains, lakes, rivers and creeks. The
closest cities on your way to I-5 are Weaverville, Shasta, and
Redding.
Directions
South Fork Road is four miles east of Willow Creek and one mile
west of Salyer off Highway 299. Willow Creek is about one hour east
of 101 and two hours west of I-5. Once you are on South Fork Road,
check your odometer and drive 6.8 miles to the “Escot Farm”
Sign. South Fork Road is narrow but paved (stay on the paved road).
Try to come during daylight.
